Woods Coady Terms and Conditions of Business - Permanent Recruitment


An applicant is deemed to have been "introduced" when Woods Coady LLP has supplied the applicant's name to the client and/or has forwarded an applicant's curriculum vitae.

The interviewing of an applicant either personally or by telephone introduced by Woods Coady LLP, shall be deemed as acceptance of the terms and conditions.

The client will inform Woods Coady LLP of the progress and outcome of any interviews following introduction, together with information relating to any referral of our applicants to third parties, and shall notify Woods Coady LLP immediately a candidate is engaged, in either instance.

If following the introduction, the client or any associated companies subsequently employs or remunerates the applicant within a time period of 6 months, a fee of 17.5% of basic annual salary becomes payable immediately upon commencement:-

Should an applicant having taken-up employment subsequently leave and Woods Coady LLP does not find a suitable replacement, the following credit will apply:- Up to one month - 100% of fee, up to two months - 50% of fee, up to three months - 25% of fee.

The credit will only apply when all monies due hereunder are paid by the client within fourteen days of the date of the invoice and notice is given in writing within seven days of the employment terminating.

Woods Coady Ltd shall endeavour to ensure the suitability of applicants introduced, though do not take up any references and no warranty is expressed or implied regarding the applicants suitability and/or qualifications. No liability will be accepted by Woods Coady LLP in respect of any loss, expense, change or delay arising from the negligence, dishonesty or misconduct of an applicant introduced.

The above fee applies in all instances, though are negotiable for multiple placements, exclusive assignment work and preferred supplier agreements.
