The Transmission & Distribution Division provides comprehensive expert services to its clients related to the design and delivery of power systems in the UK and overseas. With a client base consisting of utilities, commercial developers and heavy industry, capital project values are typically high and form an essential part of national or commercial infrastructure.
The office based overhead lines section provides expertise in all aspects of overhead line transmission tower design and works on stand alone assignments as well as part of multi-disciplinary teams.

Job description

Our client is looking for a senior overhead line engineer to join our Brighton office to undertake design, preparation of specifications and supervision of projects up to 400kV.

Candidate specification

Degree qualified in either electrical or civil engineering and with exstentive quality experience, you will have detailed knowledge of all aspects of overhead lines, including route selection, tower design, profiling, foundations, conductors and insulators. .
