Job profile

The Transmission & Distribution Division provides comprehensive
expert services to its clients related to the design and delivery of
power systems in the UK and overseas. With a client base
consisting of utilities, commercial developers and heavy industry,
capital project values are typically high and form an essential part of
national or commercial infrastructure..
The office based Systems Analysis section provides consulting
expertise in all aspects of network modelling covering subjects such
as load flow, fault level, harmonics, transients etc..

Job description

As part of this role, the successful candidate will undertake
assignments covering the analysis of existing and proposed
networks applied to a variety of offshore, industrial and utility
projects for clients based in the UK and abroad.

Candidate specification

Experience in one or more of the following software packages would
be an advantage - PSS/e, IPSA, EDSA, ETAP. Protection
experience is also preferred.
Most importantly, the ability to prepare clear reports and use
modelling as a tool in conceptual design and system assessment
exercises is vital, as is the ability to run analysis projects and liaise
with clients.
